As the nation’s professional body for the Logistics, Procurement and Supply Chain sector, the Advisory Board will provide strategic direction for companies to mitigate the global macroeconomic and geopolitical risks.

The collective global expertise of the Advisory Board will further uplift the LPS profession for Logistics, Procurement and Supply Chain and enable members to contribute meaningfully to a purposeful and sustainable tomorrow. The responsibilities of board members include, inter alia; advancing and uplifting the Logistics, Procurement and Supply Chain profession, advising the Institute on strategic matters and providing strategic guidance in partnership with the Institute’s stakeholders.

The Academic Board of SIPMM Institute develops policies and procedures governing academic quality and rigour, and ensuring their implementation, adherence and review. The responsibilities include approving the content and duration of the modules, as well as the entry and graduation requirements of all courses. They also include approving the deployment of teachers based on the legislative and regulatory requirements.

The Examination Board of SIPMM Institute develops and implements the processes governing the conduct of examinations or assessments of its self-developed courses. Externally-developed courses should be examined or assessed according to the procedures specified by the external course developer.
