This specialised course comprises 2 modules:
1. Purchasing Management
A taught module that provides participants with core knowledge and practical understanding of purchasing management principles and practices.
2. Artificial Intelligence for Procurement
A digital learning module that introduces participants to the application of artificial intelligence in procurement, enabling learners to understand how AI can support better decision-making and transform procurement processes.
Our faculty comprises highly experienced practitioners with the requisite academic and professional qualifications, bringing relevant industry knowledge and practical insights into the classroom.
For the taught module, students will attend engaging lessons that encourage interactive class discussions and practical learning. An examination will be conducted at the end of the module.
For the digital learning module, students enjoy the flexibility of learning at their own pace through online learning videos. Upon completion of the videos, students will take an online examination.
This course can be completed within 3 months.
Classes are conducted once a week on weekday evenings from 7.00 pm to 10.00 pm, and are available in both in-person and virtual formats to support working professionals. The programme is intensive and requires regular attendance and active participation.

An applicant must be at least 21 years old, have at least 3 years of relevant work experience, have an English Language Proficiency of at least Grade C6 at GCE “O” level or equivalent, and have a qualification not lower than a Diploma recognised by SIPMM. Those with SIPMM Executive Certificate can be considered. Applicants are advised that this is a managerial level course, and the stated criteria are consideration for admission approval. All applications are subject to approval by the Academic Board.

Students must pass all modules successfully to be awarded the Professional Certificate in Artificial Intelligence for Procurement.
In addition, students who attain a minimum score of 80% for the digital module examination will also receive a digital Certificate of Competency in Artificial Intelligence for Procurement.
