Programme outline

The award of timely and cost-effective contracts must be made to qualified contractors, suppliers and service providers in accordance with the principles, policies and procedures established for public procurement rules. The programme covers the public procurement principles, framework, policy and governance, strategic alignment and procurement policy development, procurement performance evaluation and reporting, strategic negotiation and contract strategy, and procurement fraud detection and risk management. You will leave with a view of how the principles of transparency, integrity, fairness, competition and accountability shape procurement policy, and of the place of digital technologies and sustainability in public procurement.
