Ms. Ednalyn Bacayon Jacobe

Valedictory Speech given during 2024 Graduation Ceremony

Good Afternoon,

My name is Ednalyn Bacayon Jacobe, and I am proud to represent the intake of Diploma in Logistics and Supply Management.

Today marks a significant milestone in our lives as we gather to bid farewell to our beloved SIPMM and celebrate our accomplishments as the Class of 2024. It is both an honor and a privilege to stand here before you as your valedictorian.

Beginning a new chapter in life often calls for reflection. As I look back on our journey together, I want to share some important thoughts that have guided me. We have grown together, faced challenges together, and celebrated victories together. Each shared memory and experience has shaped us into the individuals we are today. We not only excelled academically but have also developed personally, becoming more determined, and prepared for the future that lies ahead.

Our accomplishments would not have been possible without the unwavering support, guidance, and dedication of our teachers and mentors. On behalf of the graduating class, I extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the dedicated educators who have invested their time and expertise in molding us into who we are today.

I want to give special thanks to our Professor Philip Poh, Mr David Tan, and Mr Alex Loo.

Your commitment to our growth and success will always hold a special place in our hearts. We sincerely thank you for being our constant support system and for instilling in us good morals and the right approaches along the way.

Our deepest gratitude also goes to our parents, families, and friends, who have been our sources of strength throughout this journey. I would also like to acknowledge our beloved Creator as the source of our perseverance from the very beginning. It is through love and encouragement that we have found the courage and determination to overcome every obstacle we faced.

As we step into this new chapter of our lives, it’s vital to reflect on the values and lessons we’ve learned together. SIPMM has not only provided us with the academic knowledge we sought but has also molded us into well-rounded individuals, instilling qualities such as integrity, compassion, and leadership.

These qualities will serve as our guiding principles as we embark on our individual yet interconnected paths in this vast world. SIPMM has equipped us with the tools we need; now it’s time for us to confidently spread our wings and pursue our bigger dreams.

Lastly, whatever path we choose, I urge you all to stay true to yourselves and follow your passions. Each of us has unique talents and interests, and it is up to us to cultivate them and use them to make a positive impact on the world.

Once again, congratulations to the Class of 2024. May our futures be filled with endless possibilities, immense success and significant contributions to the betterment of humanity.

Thank you.
