The Professional Diploma in Purchasing Management course equips students with a sound foundation and knowledge of purchasing principles and practices in an organisation.
This specialised professional diploma programme covers key topics in the knowledge module of Purchasing Management, and the module of Research Project that will guide students to undertake a project on best practices in the specialised field of purchasing management.
Course Duration & Frequency
This part time professional diploma in purchasing management course can be completed within 4 months. The purchasing management course is scheduled to commence in the months of March, June, September and December, but this may subject to changes. Please check with SIPMM Academy on the actual date of commencement.
The lecture timings for the part-time classes are shown below:
Time : Weekdays evening 7pm to 10pm
Frequency : 1 to 2 times per week
Venue : SIPMM Academy Training Premises in Singapore
An applicant must be at least 25 years old, have at least 3 years of relevant work experience, and have a qualification not lower than a Diploma recognised by SIPMM. Those who do not meet the criteria but have the SIPMM Executive Certificate are eligible for admission.
Academic Award & Recognition
Students must pass all module assessments to complete the course successfully, and be awarded the Professional Diploma in Purchasing Management (PDPM). The PDPM graduate is eligible to apply for the practitioner credential as a World Accredited Practitioner in Purchasing Management, and this special credential is awarded by World Certification Institute (WCI).
