Course Objective

The Graduate Diploma in Procurement Management course equips students with the strategy and techniques of procurement management for a managerial role in an organisation.

The specialised graduate diploma programme covers key topics in a module of Procurement Strategy, and a Management Project that will guide students to undertake a project on an emerging trend that affects procurement strategy.

Course Duration & Frequency

This part time graduate diploma in procurement management course can be completed within 4 months. The procurement management course is scheduled to commence in the months of January, April, July and October, but this may subject to changes. Please check with SIPMM Academy on the actual date of commencement.

The lecture timings for the part-time classes are shown below:

Time : Weekdays 7pm to 10pm in the evening
Frequency : 1 to 2 classes per week
Venue : SIPMM Academy Training Premises in Singapore

Delivery & Assessment

The graduate diploma in procurement management course incorporates blended learning mode, where students attend class lectures, as well as undertake self-directed learning through optional online videos. Faculty members are highly experienced practitioners with postgraduate academic and professional qualifications. The Management Project module requires students to attend regular class sessions so that they can be closely guided to complete the projects within the study period. Students are expected to make use of relevant websites for purposes of learning and research.

Upon completion of the knowledge module, students will sit for the examination. As for the module on Management Project, each student is assessed on a major assignment, a minor assignment, and a short presentation.

Academic Award & Recognition

Students must pass all module assessments to complete the course successfully, and be awarded the Graduate Diploma in Procurement Management (GDPM). The GDPM graduate is eligible to apply for a professional credential as the World Certified Professional in the field of Procurement Management, and this special credential is awarded by World Certification Institute (WCI).
