Dr. Jasmine Lam is Chair Professor and Maritime Chair at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). Previously, she was a tenured Professor at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, where she founded and directed the Maritime Energy and Sustainable Development Centre of Excellence and led the Maritime Studies programmes, in addition to serving in leadership roles at the President’s Office.

An internationally recognised expert in maritime and port studies, logistics and supply chain management, and sustainable transport, Professor Lam has led over 90 research and consultancy projects and authored more than 380 scientific publications, including over 190 papers in leading refereed journals. She serves as Associate Editor of Tier 1 journals such as Transportation Research Part D, Transportation Research Part E, and Maritime Policy & Management, and is Vice President of the International Association of Maritime Economists.

Ranked among the world’s top 0.2% scientists by Stanford University for five consecutive years, her accolades include the Top Scholar Grand Award and the National Day Award conferred by the President of Singapore.
